Cross-country skiing to Baie du Ha! Ha! and Ferme Rioux in Bic National Park

This morning was a lovely day to go cross-country skiing... a centimeter or two of fresh snow lay on the ground, the sun was shining through a partially cloudy sky, and the temperature was a cool 18 F, but with the wind nearly still, and wearing several layers of clothing, we were good to go. We opted to ski in nearby Parc National du Bic on a trail that skirts along the Baie du Ha! Ha! and continues on to the Visitor Center (closed in winter) known as the Centre de decouverate et de services Ferme Rioux. With favorable light, I could not resist snapping lots of photos. Here are a few.

No picnickers on this wintry day

The only 'seals' in the Park this time of year are these three statues alongside the Visitor Center.
In summer, seals are commonly seen basking on rocks in several of the bays in the National Park.

Signage for the trails near the Ferme Rioux. Last summer, Lisa and I hiked and cycled many of the same trails that we are skiing on this winter in Bic National Park.
