Window views from our Bic house on the Gaspe Peninsula

It's the middle of January and we're staying at our house on the Gaspe Peninsula in Quebec Province, Canada. Our old house (a former one room school house built in 1910 and extensively remodeled) has windows with a variety of view scapes. I thought it might be fun to take and post photos looking out some of our windows on this cold (8 F day.

View north of spruce-fir forest on ridge in Bic National Park.

View west with snow-covered fields that grow hay in summer. In the foreground is our yard
with a quaking aspen and a spruce tree and a small outbuilding where we store firewood.

This view to the west looks out at a large white birch tree, behind which are a row of quaking aspens.

Here's another look at the row of quaking aspens alluded to in the previous photo.
Beyond the aspens is Hwy 132 along with a railroad track.
Just to the right of the old antique barn (partially shown on the far left) are two small garden sheds.
We use the larger building on the far right as a chicken coup in summer.

Adjacent to the house, this out building was used by the previous owner to display/store antiques.

A very nice bilingual (french/english) couple live in the blue house across the street.
The large grey barn is used by another neighbor to store feed and provide shelter for about 10 horses.

These frosted over windows are in an unheated room which we call the solarium.
It's easily accessible and nearly filled with firewood.

Close up of a frosted window with the horse barn in distance.
